Abstract
In the last decade the American factor plays a significant role in promoting China’s efforts to build comprehensive national power. The U.S. are not able today to deal effectively with China’s geopolitical aspirations because of weakening of their economic position in East Asian region and the physical inability to accumulate there sufficient military superiority. In this context East Asia became the arena of fierce rivalry between the PRC and the U.S. allied with Japan that is leading its own strategic game.
