- Abstract
- The article reveals the essence and content of the concept of the life world, its main characteristics from the point of view of the sociology of life. The life world is analyzed as a set of basic meanings of life, taking into account the deep foundations of human existence. Based on a comparison of all-Russian sociological studies in 2012-2014 and all-Union studies of public consciousness in the late 1980s, the trends in the development of the life world that determine the main goals that are of the greatest value to a person are studied. Its main meanings and their features in the activity of the modern Russian as an economic, social, political, spiritual and cultural person are characterized. On this basis, stable meaning-forming value orientations and worldview principles are identified, which people are guided by and which they implement in their relations with society and the state. It is shown that in reality there are diverse life worlds filled with different semantic content.
