- Abstract
- Elite education abroad is considered. It is shown that in most developed countries of the West there is a small group of educational institutions that plays a crucial role in the selection and recruitment of power groups, especially in the economic and administrative spheres. Access to education in such schools and universities is largely determined by social origin, which is reflected in the characteristics of the class composition of students. Elite education makes a significant contribution to intergenerational reproduction, integration and legitimization of power groups in society.
