- Abstract
- The relevant economic and mathematical model was developed on the basis of a new approach to understandingthe essence of the technical (industrial) potential of the country’s regions. It is based not only on the traditional Cobb-Douglasproduction factors (labor and capital) but also includes indicators describing the innovative quality of RF’s regions economy andreflecting the standard of living of the working population of Russian Federation regions, as well as the cost of technologicalinnovation and wages of employees of organizations. Empirically, it was found that these factors have the most significantinfluence on the formation of GRP of the country’s regions. The model allows to efficiently manage technical developmentof Russia based on an objective assessment of the situation and forecasting (planning) of its development in the future. If thepessimistic scenario will come to life (GRP reduction in the RF subjects, or a significant slowdown in the rate of its growth), than, given the strength of the impact of various shop-floor factor, it is possible to propose a quick economically reasoned managementsolutions.
