- Abstract
- The article analyzes the features of using the concept of “interest” in the framework of Western sociology of the late twentieth and early twentieth centuries, the process of forming its semantic shades and heuristic possibilities in the context of methodological relativism, pluralism of approaches, and particularity of scientific views. The article examines the sociologists ' desire to update the content of the concept and use it in a new way in explaining the space-time “contours” of social practice.
