- Abstract
- The analysis of the political structure in medieval Novgorod in the XIV–XV centuries uses the history of Church construction. The role of the head of the Novgorod Church (Archbishop) is considered and on this basis an attempt is made to determine his place in the confrontation of various Novgorod factions in the struggle for power.
