Abstract
Internet addiction has become a social problem that causes public concern and is the subject of special research. The feeling of loneliness, not being the only cause of it, turns out to be one of its factors. The article presents the results of a sociological study of the conditions for the development of Internet addiction from the point of view of subjective assessment of the quality of social relations and satisfaction with them. Conducting this type of research allows you to identify risk factors for Internet addiction.
