- Abstract
- Sociology of professions and professional groups is a relatively new research area, the problems of which are actively discussed at international sociological forums. The inclusion of Russian sociologists in these discussions raises the question of understanding various aspects and approaches of this field of knowledge for use in the study of similar phenomena. The article provides an overview of the main points of view and discussions expressed at the recent conference of the International sociological Association.
