- Abstract
- The results of the 11th conference of the European Sociological Association, approaches to the interpretation of the current global crisis are analyzed. According to the author, the forum participants were able to offer theoretical and methodological tools that allow for a deeper analysis of the changes taking place in the world. Special attention is paid to the analysis of vulnerabilities that arose as a result of the formation of a complex society. The humanistic turn is proposed as the intellectual basis of the new sociological paradigm.
