Аннотация

В статье рассматриваются взаимоотношения президента США Дональда Трампа с афроамериканским сообществом с момента его избрания в 2016 г. до новых президентских выборов в 2020 году. Проанализированы факторы, влиявшие на преимущественно отрицательное отношение чернокожего населения к президенту, а также подробно рассмотрены основные меры команды Трампа, направленные на изменение данной негативной тенденции. Особое внимание уделяется влиянию таких важных событий, как пандемия Ковид-19 и массовые летние протесты 2020 года, рассматриваются взаимоотношения президента и афроамериканского сообщества, проанализирована избирательная кампания Трампа, направленная на увеличение рейтинга республиканца среди чернокожих избирателей, а также рассмотрены итоги президентских выборов.
