Abstract

The article-review of the monograph by Prof. Yu. I. Skuratov analyzes the reasons for the author's appeal to Eurasianism. The main motives for this lie in the understanding of the Eurasian state-legal phenomena, their interweaving into the constitutional-legal mechanism, in focusing on the scientific validity, reliability and suitability of the main conclusions of the Eurasians for the further development of the Russian state. The methodological richness of the monograph, the polemical and large-scale nature of the conceived and implemented research are emphasized. The author’s views on the most important subjects of constitutional and legal relations (the people and the state) are evaluated. The conclusion is formulated about the great importance of Yu. I. Skuratov’s monograph for the science of Constitutional Law, which it significantly enriches.
