Abstract

During the presidency of D. Trump, an intensification of American foreign policy in Central Asia was observed. As a result, a new strategy for 2019-2025 “Advancing Sovereignty and Economic Prosperity” was presented. The United States, which supports the integration of the Central Asian states, into a single geopolitical region, thereby reducing the influence of Russia and China. The integration of the region was to be based on joint economic and energy projects.
