Окончание войны в Афганистане: последствия поражения США для региональной безопасности

Аннотация

Исследование, которое легло в основу этой статьи, вызвано актуальным вопросом: как прекращение западного военного присутствия в Афганистане влияет на более обширный регион вокруг этой страны? Последствия этого процесса выходят далеко за рамки непосредственного влияния вывода сил США и их союзников по коалиции, возглавляемой НАТО, из Афганистана. Государства, находящиеся в непосредственной географической близости и поодаль, особенно Россия, обеспокоены тем, как происходит трансформация региональной среды безопасности после возвращения к власти талибов. В этой статье рассматривается исходная информация для понимания решения администрации Дж. Байдена завершить вывод войск из Афганистана, оценивается реакция соседних стран на приход к власти талибов, исследуются политические и военные последствия смены режима в Кабуле и их влияние на региональную безопасность. Некоторые дополнительные направления рассматриваются по мере необходимости. Статья завершается соображениями и выводами, которые касаются возможного влияния текущей ситуации в Афганистане на последующую политику США в регионе.
