Abstract
In May 2015, the Center for Political Studies of Institute of Latin America of RAS held a "round table" dedicated to the new trends of foreign policy in the region in the context of the VII Summit of the Americas. The panelists analyzed the main directions of foreign policy in the Western Hemisphere and outlined possible prospects of its evolution, paid special attention to the foreign activity of key states, their national interests and attitudes of governments in the region to the global problems of our time.
