Abstract
The scientific review provides a chronicle of the international conference Sreznevsky and Russian historical linguistics: experience and prospects. To the 205th anniversary of the birth». The article examines key issues of this forum. Special attention is paid to the historical relations of the ideas by I.I. Sreznevsky and traditions of Slavic-Russian Philology of the nineteenth century with the modern achievements of domestic science.
