- Abstract
Written monuments created at the turn of the XVII-XVIII centuries, are interesting not only for their socio-cultural "plots" and the depiction of the personalities of the era, but also for their language of presentation. On the example of travel notes by P. Tolstoy and A. Matveev, the author traces the foreign language musical terms into Russian vocabulary.
