- Abstract
- In the review is discussed the collection of scientific articles "Mind at the crossroads: Social consciousness between past and future" (ed. by УшА. Krasin, A.B. Veber, A.A. Galkin). An analysis is presented results of research of social consciousness problems development in the societal transformations era. It is noted that the book attempts to rethink the relationship of individual and social consciousness in an increasingly complex modern multipolar and multipro-space world. It is emphasized that the root of the problem of social consciousness in a changing world is shifting to the area of the current attitudes and practices of social control. Approaches of the authors of the compendium to the complex concept of social consciousness are cliscussed from the point of view of their sociological and philosophical interpretation. It is concluded that the process of radically changing the paradigm of being is its begining.
