Abstract
Alcohol consumption practices are described, and population groups that are characterized by new styles of alcohol consumption are identified. The classification is based on the types of alcoholic beverages consumed, the regularity of their use, places and nature of combination with food intake. The empirical base of the research is a combined array of survey data households and adults aged 15 and over spent in as part of the 21st wave of the HSE Riez. As a result, six consumption practices were identified their connection with certain social strata of the population has been verified.
