Abstract
Based on the analysis of the works of P. Sorokin, his reports at scientific congresses and little-known interviews, as well as information obtained during personal meetings and conversations with the scientist at the V world sociological Congress, the author shows the evolution of Sorokin's views on the revolution, reveals his views on some methodological aspects of sociological science, on the problems of social destinies of Russia.
