- Abstract
- The article is devoted to the analysis of professionalism in the everyday culture of Russian military personnel. Using the concept of dramatic sociology, we study “front” and “backstage” practices, as well as “stage decorations " that determine the status symbols of the military profession. The research is based on the results of biographical interviews with military personnel who served in the armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the period 2010-2013 (N = 60-45men, 15 women).
