- Abstract
- Theoretical grounds for conducting research among information technology workers as a professional community are discussed. Consideration of the empirical material demonstrates the possibility of studying them as a network structure. Such properties of the network principle of the organization as the absence of clear borders, the possibility of combining heterogeneous subjects, the independence of the network as a whole from the difficulties of private “points”, as well as the conditions for inclusion/exclusion in relation to employees in the field of information technology are noted.
