- Abstract
The article analyzes the main directions of research on family problems in the sociological literature of modern Germany. The following are highlighted and described: evaluation of the family policy of the German state in comparison with the family policy implemented in other countries; the possibility of successfully combining education, family life and professional career of men and women; stimulating the birth rate and fighting the desired childlessness.
