- Abstract
- The article analyzes the results of research on the psychology of corruption as a new field of socio-psychological research. The article describes the results of a psychological study of corrupt officials, the peculiarities of the Russian population's attitude to corruption, the relationship of this attitude to the specifics of Russian culture and near-corruption phenomena. The possibilities of psychological science and practice in combating corruption are analyzed: changing the tolerant attitude to it, psychological monitoring of anti-corruption bills, testing candidates for “bribe-intensive” positions with the help of special psychological techniques.
