- Abstract
- Russia plays a crucial role in the modern world. The processes in our country have a huge impact on the stability and development of the world.The approaching 25th anniversary of the reforms actualizes the analysis of the causes that led to the current state of Russian society and the establishment of a diagnosis, which is the task of sociology as a General social science. The article considers a set of factors – historical, ideological, ethical, organizational, etc. - that prevent sociologists from performing this task.
