- Abstract
- In sociological research, care is increasingly viewed through the lens of citizenship theories. Some authors write about care as one of the social rights guaranteed to the population by the state. Other scientists, on the contrary, emphasize that care does not follow liberal logic. Based on an analytical review of the sociological literature on care, this article presents the main ways to interpret the relationship between the concepts of “care” and “citizenship”.
