- Abstract
- The article proves the necessity of interrelation of sociological and natural science knowledge in the analysis of specific problems. The convergence of these types of knowledge is justified by the logic of the historical development of sociology, which went from positivism to postpositivism. The role of postmodernism in the development of natural science approaches and interpretation of complex nonlinear social processes is emphasized. The experience of studying on the basis of interdisciplinary methodology of the problem of non-linearity of social processes and the resulting non-linearity of social time. The characteristics, properties and qualities of nonlinear time are revealed: multistructure, alternativeness, uniqueness of temporal processes and phenomena, their probability, non-obviousness, flexibility, instantaneity, etc. Special attention is paid to the use of the achievements of neurophysiology, biology, astrophysics, mathematics, endophysics and the synergetic approach in the analysis of sociological problems.
