- Abstract
- Pre-revolutionary studies of the political consciousness of the Russian peasantry as an electoral group are studied. The features of the methods used are described: a qualitative approach, quantitative measurements of the content of "sentences” and” punishments" addressed to state authorities. The authordisputes the point of view regarding the lack of serious works on the attitude of the Russian village to The state Duma in the pre-revolutionary period.
