- The article considers the problem of orphanhood in Russia as a social phenomenon, highlights the factors that provoke its occurrence, presents the historical aspect of the formation and development of the main forms of life of orphaned children left without parental care, reflects the role of the state and public organizations in solving the problem of orphanhood in our country.
