- Abstract
- The article discusses the attitude of the population of one of the key Russian regions to changing the time zone and switching to the so-called Moscow time. The author shows the stability of the formed attitude to this problem for almost 20 years. Factors influencing the population's assessment of such a transition were found: the place of residence and type of settlement, the degree of individual mobility and intensity of inter-regional contacts, as well as the degree of individual “life success” and optimism.
