- Abstract
- The article presents the basics of the sociological theory of international intergovernmental organizations (IMOS). Attention is drawn to the fact that, on the one hand, they are unions of States and act under the influence of these political institutions. On the other hand, they are associations of people with their personal and social qualities. The author emphasizes that MMOs acquire General characteristics of organizations, which are manifested in setting and implementing goals, organizational structure, and interaction with the social environment.
