- Abstract
- The article analyzes the formation of the sociological concept of A. p. Shchapov (1831-1876), which includes the basic concepts: people, freedom, territory – concretized in the concepts: colonization, community, Veche, Zemsky sobors. According to his concept, the main guiding line of Russian history is the relationship "nature-man". Climate, soil, and food determine the character of a people, their habits, lifestyle, financial status, health, and spiritual and intellectual development.
