- Abstract
- The fires of the summer of 2010 in the European part of Russia are considered as an interdisciplinary problem and at the same time as a test of the ability of society to consolidate the efforts of its various actors to overcome a catastrophic situation. Applying the theory of the risk society, network analysis and using content analysis of Internet resources and observation method are investigated institutional and other social causes this ecocatastrophe, the main phases of critical situation development, resource mobilization and placement forces and the prospects of mitigation and/or elimination of its consequences and the subsequent rehabilitation of the population and natural systems.
