Abstract
The article makes an attempt at tracing the connection between the fulfillment of ethnographic artifacts related to the culture of the Bukhara Jews in museum collections, and the history and trends of studying their traditional everyday-life culture over the last 150 years. A number of specific collections and objects are analyzed from the perspective of how the object world of the discussed culture - as well as of the neighbor cultures - is reflected in them.
