Abstract

The issue's special section focuses on youth subcultures in contemporary Russia - the topic that has not yet been studied extensively from within ethnography in the tradition of Russian scholarship and that is nonetheless gaining increasing importance these days. The articles presented in the section attempt to address a variety of questions on the topic and add to the understanding of the subject under consideration.
