- Abstract
- The article discusses the spreading of interethnic marriages in 39 settlements of the region under consideration and draws on the analysis of bookkeeping data provided by village administration offices. The author sorts out villages according to the degree and type of distribution of ethnically mixed marriages. He traces the specificities of dynamics of the process in each village, which is important for forecasting the further development of the situation. Special attention is paid to the ethnic identification of children born of mixed marriages and its dependence on the particular ethnic groups whose representatives are married.
