- Abstract
- From the institutional point of view, Slavic studies in Slovakia have been conducted since 1995 in the framework of the Slovak Academy of Sciences on the basis of the Jan Stanislav Institute of Slavistics. In cooperation with the Slovak Committee of Slavists, it suggests an interdisciplinary model of fundamental research and presentation of their results in Slovakia and abroad. The article highlights most important achievements of the recent twenty years in the field of institutionalisation and promotion of Slavic Studies at the Slovak Academy of Sciences.
