- Abstract
- The article deals with the Czech historical science, the role of individuals, professional groups and national congresses in its development before and after the making of the independent Czechoslovakia (1918), in the interwar period and during the Nazi aggression, when the country was divided into Slovakia and the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia.A special attention is paid to changes in historical science, which followed after 1945 and February 1948. The article is based on archival materials, publications in the Czech scholarly periodicals, monographs and collective works of contemporary scholars.
