Abstract
Article regards questions connected with confinement under guard in modern criminal process of Switzerland according to the new Code of Criminal Procedure in 2007, entered into force on January 1, 2011. Аuthor came to conclusion about distinguishing features this institution difference of confinement under guard, creation of courts for procedural compulsion, absence of upper limit for confinement under guard.
