Abstract
This article considers self-protection of labor rights by the employees, in case such rights are infringed by their employers. The article denotes contribution of various legal experts to the analysis of problems related to self-protection of labor rights, which had a considerable impact on the development of this category of labor law. The article analyses definitions of self-protection, taking into account the methods ofprotecting labor rights of employees used in practice.
